Women's Track Adds Three Top-10 Finishes at Razorback Invite

Fayetteville, Ark.-- - The Lady Tiger Track and Field team wrapped up the Razorback Invitational with three more top 10 finishes. Memphis posted a top 10 finish in each of the three areas, sprints, distance and field events, to wrap up a weekend against some stiff competition.

Freshman Shameika Johnson finished ninth in the 27-competitor field in the unseeded 400-meter run in her first collegiate meet. Johnson finished with a time of 57.88.

Junior Wendy Ragle led the distance runners with a seventh-place finish in the 3000-meter run. Ragle finished with a time of 10:49.2.

Barbara Wine finished 8th in the shot put with a best put of 13.83 meters (45-4.50).

The team will compete at Illinois next weekend.
