Hattiesburg, Miss.- - The University of Memphis women's tennis team (11-15, 1-3) finished its season in eighth-place in Conference USA with a 4-1 loss to DePaul in the seventh-place match, Sunday.

DePaul overcame a 1-0 deficit after Memphis won the doubles point, to win the match and finish in seventh-place. Memphis won the No. 1 and 2 doubles matches, but then proceeded to lose the No. 1, 2, 3 and 6 singles matches to end their season 11-15 overall.

No. 2 seed Tulane upset No. 1 seed UAB to win the league championships, 4-0. Marquette upended South Florida for third-place, while Houston defeated Cincinnati for fifth place.
