Academic Highlights: Made the 2007-08 C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll awarded to student-athletes who carry a 3.0 GPA or higher for the school year...A member of the fall 2007 and spring 2008 Tiger 3.0 Club given to the Memphis student-athletes who have at least a 3.0 GPA for the semester.
2008 (Freshman): Played in 36 games with 18 starts in right field...Had two multiple-hit games and two multi-RBI contests...Went 2-for-5 in bases loaded situations...Went 2-for-4 as a pinch hitter with two RBI...Hit .163 with five RBI, eight runs scored and seven walks...Made her collegiate debut as the starting right fielder in the season opener against Illinois (2/8)...Collected her first collegiate hit as a pinch hitter against Bethune-Cookman and stole her first base in the game...Knocked in her first RBI against Texas Tech (2/16) and also had a sac bunt and a walk...Scored her third run of the season and stole a base against North Texas (3/2)...Went 3-for-3 with her first career double against Central Arkansas (3/5)...Had two hits, three runs scored and two RBI in a doubleheader against Alabama A&M (3/12)...Started all three games against No. 11 Houston (3/29-30)...Hit a bases loaded two-run single against East Carolina (4/26) as a pinch hitter.
Prep: A four-year letterwinner from Clements High School in Sugar Land, Texas...Coached by David McCorkle...Played center field at Clements...Earned first team all-district in 2006 and second team in 2007...Named the 2005 Newcomer of the Year and earned a 2005 Gold Glove Award...Also lettered one year in volleyball at libero and one year in cross country.
