MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Senior Ben Stapp and junior Lee Taylor Walker teamed together to capture their third doubles title of the 2002-2003 tennis season with an 8-3 win over the Northwestern University team of Tommy Hanus and Adam Schaecterle in the finals of the 28th Milwaukee Tennis Classic, Saturday.

This makes the third tournament title for the No. 3 ranked team in the Southeast Region after winning the Middle Tennessee Tournament in September and the Adult Southern Open in December.

The Tigers have now completed their tournament portion of the schedule and will open their dual match schedule, Jan. 31st at home against UT-Chattanooga.

Memphis finished last season's dual portion of the schedule ranked No. 54th in the country, and at one point, had beaten four straight nationally-ranked opponents. The pre-season national rankings for the upcoming spring season will be released, Tuesday.
