MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis men's soccer team prepares to take to the road for the final time this season when they travel to Charlotte, NC. to take on the 49ers Friday evening in the season finale. The match is slated to start at 7 p.m. EST.

Memphis enters the match coming off a seven-goal second half effort in a 7-1 defeat of Belmont Wednesday at Echles Field. The win ensured the Tigers of its first winning campaign since the 2000 season. The Tigers look to crack the 10-win plateau and snap a five-match losing streak in conference action.

The 49ers enter the match equipped with the league's fourth-ranked goal scorer in Mira Mupier who, behind Memphis's Daniel Ronan, has scored eight goals on the year. Charlotte is in a tie with Cincinnati for the sixth and final place in the upcoming C-USA Tournament.

Coach Richie Grant and the 2002 soccer squad would thank their fans for their support during the 2002.
