Q: This season has been a major improvement offensively, are you happy with the spread offense, and do you plan on keeping it for next season?
Matthew Wass
Memphis TN

Coach West
Yes, You always want to be better. I think we are making some progress. The biggest thing we have had to learn to do is throw the football. I think we are making some progress throwing the ball. You have to show people that you are willing to do that to be able to recruit quality wide receivers, so we will stick with what we've got.

Q: The groundbreaking at the Murphy Complex has been a long time coming and I know other coaches have been promised these types of improvements. The only thing better than the groundbreaking will be the dedication. I am glad you are getting this shot in the arm. How has this effected the current Tigers and what effect has it had on recruiting of future Tigers?
Rex Wilburn

Bruce MS

Coach West
I couldn't be happier with the groundbreaking of the new facility, number one for our players that are here, the present players. We are trying to run a first class program and to be able to treat them first class and put them in a first class facility. Recruiting I think speaks for itself. What has been a negative for us, now will be turned into a positive.

Q: You were a former college football player for Tennessee, have you coached against Tennessee before? And what are your thoughts about coaching in Neyland Stadium?
Mack Maness

Lexington KY

Coach West
I have coached against Tennessee before, three times: when I was a graduate assistant at Ole Miss, when I was a defensive coach a South Carolina, and then a year ago here. But I have never coached against them in Neyland Stadium. It will certainly be exciting for me to have a chance to go back, and compete against Tennessee.
