NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Marcus Moody came off the bench to score 16 points as Memphis beat Tulane 91-69 Wednesday night.

It was the seventh straight victory for Memphis (11-8, 5-1 Conference USA).

Kelly Wise added 14 points and nine rebounds for Memphis, while Earl Barron had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, Scooter McFadgon scored 13 points and Shannon Foreman had 11.

Thirty-three of Memphis points came from the bench.

The Tigers shot 52.2 percent from the field in the game, while Tulane shot just 43.3 percent. Memphis also held a 43-35 advantage on the boards, while committing just 12 turnovers. Tulane had 18 turnovers in the loss.

After cutting the deficit to four at 54-50 with 13:16 to go, Tulane (7-11, 0-5) fell into a slump, scoring just six points over then next five minutes.

Tulane was led by Bandon Brown's 16 points and eight rebounds. Linton Johnson posted his second straight double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Ledaryl Billingsley added 12 and Brandon Spann had 10, and George Brown scored 11.
