KNOXVILLE, TENN. - The Lady Hawk 4x200m relay team posted a school record of 1:38.57 to highlight UMES performances on April 12-15 at the Sea Ray Relays hosted by the University of Tennessee.

The 4x200m quartet of Danieth Pryce, Tanesha Wisdom, Sherie Brown and Cierra Layne beat out competitors from Wisconsin, Penn State and Vanderbilt en route to an eighth-place finish in their respective event.

Brown, Shakira Robinson, Wisdom and Layne had a good outing in the 4x100m relays with their seventh place finish in 46.20.

Several personal records were also set in Knoxville. Wisdom (24.18), Robinson (24.44), Layne (24.47) and Brown (24.99) each set personal marks in the 200m dash. Layne also ran a personal best of 11.89 in the 100m dash while Pryce finished that same event in 11.79.

UMES returns to the track this weekend, April 21-22 at the Morgan State Invitational in Baltimore, Maryland.
