McNeese State student-athletes were treated to a "fall finals breakfast" this past Wednesday night.

Deb Kingrey, the academic counselor for student-athletes, engineered the breakfast and she was helped by Dr. Jeanne Daboval, Michele Martin, Tommy McClelland, Bridget Martin, Penny Brown, Pam LaFosse, Pam McGough, Scott Pendarvis, Ryan Ivey, J. D. Boudreaux, Brooks Donald Williams, Dave Simmons, Chris Malveaux, Ashleigh Shear, Andrew Fitzgerald and Louis Bonnette.

The breakfast consisted of pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, orange juice and milk and the event began at 11 p.m. and ran until midnight. McNeese student are now taking final exams.

The meal was cooked by members of the McNeese staff.

"A big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in making the first "Fall Finals Breakfast" a success," said Kingrey.

"As always, many pitched in to help. The student-athletes really enjoyed it - they appreciate our support. We're now looking forward to a second annual breakfast next fall."
