Johnson City, Tenn. - The Marshall University women's track team will travel to Tennessee to compete in the Niswonger Invitational Friday and Saturday. The meet will be hosted by East Tennessee State.

The Thundering Herd has had some early success during the 2008 indoor season. In the first two meets of the season Marshall has notched 16 top ten finishes.

Those finishes include a first place finish by senior Teniqua Sutton (Westbury, N.J.) in the triple jump event at the Oilers Open.

The meet will begin Friday and will continue Saturday. Results from the meet will be posted on East Tennessee State's athletics website, http://www.etsubucs.com/.
