Softball Versus Louisville Changed to Exhibition

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.- The Marshall University softball team faced off against the Cardinals of Louisville in an exhibition double-header Wednesday at Dot Hicks Field. The Cardinals escaped with the unofficial victory in both contests, winning the first game 4-0 and the nightcap 2-0.

The contests were officially cancelled due to umpire scheduling conflicts. The two teams used the opportunity to warm-up for important conference series this weekend. Marshall will host Ohio University in a Mid-American Conference double-header on Saturday, May 5th, at 1:00 p.m.
