Baseball to Open Series with Conference Rival Ohio

Huntington, W.Va.-The Marshall University baseball team will open a four game series with conference rival Ohio University at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, at University Heights. The series will move to Athens, Ohio, with a doubleheader on Saturday, and will return to Huntington for the series finale at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 12.

Marshall enters the series with a 17-27 record, 7-12 in the Mid-American Conference. Ohio enters with a record of 19-23, 7-12 in conference. The two teams are tied for fourth in the MAC East Division.

Last season, the Bobcats swept the four game series, including a high scoring 20-18 win in the third game of the series. Last weekend, Marshall lost three of four against Kent State University and Ohio spilt with Miami (OH) University.

Admission to the game is five dollars for children and three dollars for adults.
