On the back line, Jallow supported the offensive with two assists, both in 1-1 ties, against in-state foes UW-Green Bay (Sept. 9) and UW-Milwaukee (Oct. 31). Against Connecticut, he recorded a personal season-best three shots in an attempt to provide scoring from the back against the nation's then-No. 2 team. (Oct. 27).

2006: Marquette's most played freshman, Jallow stepped into his role as a central defender. Only nagging injuries and illnesses kept him out of the lineup as he played in 14 games, starting 13. He made his collegiate debut and earned his first career start in the win over Loyola (Ill.) (Aug. 25) in the season opener. His play was also crucial to a shutout in the second game of the season, a 0-0 tie with Denver (Aug. 27).

Prior to Marquette: Jallow is an accomplished player with lots of speed that will make an impact early on the Marquette program. He played with IK Sirius in Uppsala and led his team to the quarterfinal round in the Swedish National Youth Championships in 2005.

Personal: Born December 10, 1987, Jallow is the son of Bouba and Lena Jallow and has three siblings, Pa, Antou and Ted. His brother, Antou, was a standout at Wis.-Milwaukee. He also played professionally following his UWM career. Jallow is a Business Administration major.
