MILWAUKEE - Marquette's game programs for the 2005-06 basketball season were named second best in the nation by the College Sports Information Directors of America, as part of the organization's year end publication awards.

The awards are given after a series of national judging. Contest judges viewed three copies of entrants game programs. The judges award points based on content, design style and writing. Ohio State received first place in the contest.

Tim Raasch (Athletics Art Director) was the primary graphic designer of the game program. Mike Broeker (Associate AD/Marketing and Communications) and Blain Fowler (Assistant Media Relations Director) served as the publications' editors. The CoSIDA award is the first for Raasch and Broeker. The CoSIDA award is the sixth for Fowler, whose previous best national finish was third place for the 2002-03 Marquette Women's Basketball Media Guide.
