Richard and Miller Named America East Swimmers of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. - University of Maine swimmers Nathan Richard and Colleen Miller have been named the America East Men's and Women's Swimming Performers of the Week as announced by the conference on Tuesday.

Richard (Vergennes, Vermont) won the 100 breast in 59.03 and also was first in the 100 butterfly with a time of 54.48. The freshman also was a member of both the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay teams that finished second in a dual meet against Boston University.

Miller (Missoula, Montana) took first place in the 200 free with a time of 1:55.62 and also added a first place finish in the 500 free in 5:09.02. She also swam the second leg of the 200 free relay that finished second as the Black Bears competed at Boston University last Saturday.
