ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine football team will begin its spring practice drills, in preparation for the 2006 season, this Saturday from 8:45-11:15 a.m., at Alfond Stadium. The session will be the first of 15 for the Black Bears, as all sessions are free and open to the public to attend. Each one will also be held at the stadium. The spring practice period will end on Saturday, May 6, when the squad takes part in the Jeff Cole Memorial Scrimmage.
