HEADING INTO 2005: Co-captain of the Black Bears... Maine's starting catcher.. performs everyday... does the subtle things that help Maine be successful... will be expected to contribute more offensively... handles the pitchers well... played for Sanford in the New England Collegiate Baseball League in the summer of 2004... Earned the 2005 M Club Dean Smith Award as the top male scholar-athlete at UMaine.

2004: Named to the America East first team... batted .287 with 38 runs scored and 38 RBI... named America East top scholar-athlete for baseball... ranked second on the team with a .982 fielding percentage... led America East in walks... was 4-for-5 with two runs scored and five RBI in Maine's 18-8 win over Niagara (3/20)... belted two home runs in the game... was 3-for-5 with three runs scored and four RBI in Maine's 14-4 win over Vermont (5/2)... was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI in Maine's 9-3 win over Albany in the America East Tournament (5/27)... a two-time UMaine Scholar-Athlete Award winner... named to the America East Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.

2002: Named a Collegiate Baseball/Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American after leading the team with a .367 batting average in 98 chances... hit a solo shot against Pace for his only home run of the season... hit six doubles and 22 RBI... started 14 games at catcher and 11 as DH... had seven multiple RBI games... had a .971 fielding percentage with 95 putouts and six assists... had a .470 on-base percentage... earned first team All-America East honors... also named to conference All-Rookie and All-Tournament teams... named America East Rookie of the Week for April 8-14 as he hit .444 with one RBI in a pair of doubleheaders against Northeastern.
