Greensboro, N.C. - Incoming freshman Tara Erdmann signed a National Letter of Intent to run with Loyola Marymount cross country and track beginning in the fall. Recently, Erdmann literally turned heads at the 2007 Nike Outdoor Nationals at North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro, N.C.

Erdmann ran most of the mile at the back of the pack in her heat, only to turn it on in the final leg for the victory. Her time of 4:54.94 was good for seventh overall. She was the only runner from the west in the top-10.
