CHICAGO - Sixth-seeded, and two-time defending Horizon League champion, Loyola volleyball begins its journey towards a third consecutive Horizon League tournament title on Friday morning (Nov. 17) when it battles third-seeded Cleveland State in quarterfinal action at McLin Gymnasium in Dayton, Ohio. The Ramblers, who finished the regular season 14-15 (7-7 Horizon) and Vikings (18-8, 8-6) will open play at the championship with first serve is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. CT.

Friday will serve as the rubber match between the two teams this season, with each winning on its home court. Most recently, the Ramblers edged the Vikings in a hard-fought, five-game win on Oct. 28 at Alumni Gym. Loyola knocked off every team in the Horizon League this season with the exception of host and fifth-seeded Wright State, whom it would not face until the finals.
