Tickets For Loyola Soccer Doubleheader at TOYOTA PARK On Sale Now

Aug. 6, 2007

CHICAGO - Tickets for Loyola University Chicago's soccer doubleheader at TOYOTA PARK, the home of the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer, on Sunday, Sept. 16, are currently on sale now by calling the Loyola Ticket Office. Tickets are $8 each, include parking, and are good for admission to both matches.

The Rambler women will kick off the afternoon of soccer by facing Penn at 1 p.m. before the men tangle with Horizon League rival Valparaiso at 3:30 p.m. Both the Loyola men and women advanced to the NCAA Tournament last fall when each team won the Horizon League Championship.

Loyola's women's team features high-scoring sophomore Cynthia Morote-Ariza, who last season totaled single-season school records of 27 points, nine goals and nine assists, en route to Horizon League Newcomer of the Year, First Team All-Horizon League, Second Team All-Great Lakes Region and Second Team Freshman All-America honors.

The men are led by a pair of 2006 National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Great Lakes Region performers in senior defender Iradj Farahmand and senior midfielder Keum Sung Kim.

To purchase tickets, please call the Loyola Ticket Office at (773) 508-WOLF.
