Chicago, Ill. (February 22, 2005) – The men’s volleyball team defeated Clarke 3-0 (30-22, 30-17, 30-22) this evening, extending their winning-streak to 10 games and their record to 13-1, 6-0 MIVA.

Leading the attack against the Crusaders was Chris Kozlarek with 12 kills, hitting his highest percentage this season of .733 and leading the team in digs with 8. Scott Greene chipped in 11 additional kills and 2 ace serves in the win. James Grunst led the Ramblers in blocks with a total of 7 (1 solo and 6 assist).

The Ramblers kept Clarke to a .072 attack percentage with Loyola’s 10.0 team blocks compared to the Crusaders 3.0. Loyola hit .514 for the evening, recording 47 total kills. Tyler Galstad recorded 6 kills, hitting .545. Libero Pat McCarthy had 8 digs for the Crusaders.

This weekend the #12 Ramblers host the #14 Ohio State Buckeyes Saturday, Feb. 26 in Alumni Gym at 7:00 p.m.
