Loyola University Chicago's Ben Reifenberg earned men's All-League First Team honors for his performance at the Horizon League Cross Country Championships last weekend. Colleen Donovan earned women's Newcomer of the Year honors and was named to the women's All-League Second Team along with freshman Danielle Locascio and junior Genevieve Binnie. Junior Ryan Kuphall was named to the men's All-League Second Team.

Reifenberg's 26:24 8K, which was good for a sixth-place finish, earned him men's All-League First Team honors. He helped the Rambler men to a second-place finish out of nine teams at the Horizon League Championships. The freshman from Fort Wayne, Ind., has been the top finisher for the Rambler men in every race this season and garnered Horizon League Athlete of the Week honors for the week of September 18. He posted his season-best time of 25:48 at the NCAA Pre-Nationals earlier this month.

Kuphall, a junior from LaGrange, Ill., earned men's All-League Second Team accolades for his 12th-place finish at the Horizon League Championships with a time of 26:40. He was coming off of a strong performance at the NCAA Pre-Nationals in which he recorded his season-best time of 26:09.

Donovan, a sophomore with freshman eligibility, led the Loyola women over the weekend with a ninth-place finish in the 5K with a time of 19:05, helping the Rambler women to a third-place finish out of 10 teams. The Hawthorn Woods, Ill., native was the top finisher for the Ramblers at the Horizon League Championships as well as at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational. In the latter, Donovan posted her season-best time of 18:45 in the 5K while placing 24th out of 203 competitors.
