Loyola Women Named 2007 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

July 11, 2007

CHICAGO - Loyola University Chicago's women's track and field team was recently recognized by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as a 2007 All-Academic Track and Field Team. To be nominated, a team must carry a minimum 3.00 grade-point average. The Ramblers owned a 3.42 team GPA in 2007.

A year ago, the Loyola women's cross country/track and field team was designated a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team as well. In addition to their abundant success on the course and track this year, three Ramblers, seniors Amanda Domich and Marcia Faustin and junior Rachel Hansen, were also hailed as ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V selections.

Loyola and Detroit were the only Horizon League teams honored as USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams this season.
