CHICAGO - Three members of the Loyola University Chicago track and field team competed at the Alex Wilson Invitational at Notre Dame on March 6 to concluded the 2005-06 indoor track season. Representing the Ramblers in the 84-school meet were senior Shawn Lucas (Elgin, Ill.), sophomore Rachel Hansen (Omaha, Neb.) and freshman Pam Staton (Ingleside, Ill.).

A member of Loyola's Horizon League Championship-winning distance medley relay team, Staton finished 22nd in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:26.79. Hansen placed 23rd in the mile run at a time of 5:10.72, while Lucas captured 34th place in the men's mile run with a time of 4:16.17.

The Ramblers open the outdoor portion of their schedule at the Alabama Relays on March 17-19.
