10th Annual Battle of the Boards This Weekend

Current Ramblers compete in Alumni Gym

Chicago, Ill. (January 31, 2005) – This Saturday, February 5th, the 10th Annual Battle of the Boards will be held in Alumni Gym at 1:30 p.m. on Loyola’s Tom O'Hara Track.

The Battle of the Boards pits our current Ramblers against each other in a maroon vs. gold battle to showcase the 2005 Loyola Track & Field program. Midway through the short race schedule there will be a three-point shooting contest for those in attendance and a kids race for all the young fans.

Alex Murphy, 2004 grad, will be the ‘MC’ for this year’s battle. Pizza, subs and sodas will be provided and the team will be selling raffle tickets throughout the day event.
