Greyhounds Land Three On MAAC Academic Squad

Baltimore, Md. - Loyola's women's crew team landed three athletes on the MAAC Crew All-Academic Team this spring. Stephanie Chizik, Kathleen Gallway and Katherine Lally all earned recognition for their academics as well as their contributions to the Loyola crew program.
All three athletes are seniors at Evergreen and are crucial to the MAAC success Loyola has encountered on the water. Chizik, Gallway and Lally won this year's MAAC Championships with their thrilling Varsity 8 win over Marist.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution, be a significant starter or reserve and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
