Lady Bisons looking to get back on winning track

Final Stats

The Lady Bisons have traded Hawaii for Kansas this week.

Friday night they lost 92-50 to host Kansas State in the first round of the Commerce Bank/Wildcat Classic in Manhattan, Kansas.

For the second game in a row only one Lady Bison managed to score in double figures. Center Katie Rollins scored 10 points. Guard Catie Woods scored 10 points against Kentucky in the final game of the Rainbow Wahine Classic in Honolulu.

Rollins becomes the first Lady Bisons player to lead the team in scoring more than once this season. She also had 13 points against UAB in the Rainbow Wahine Classic.

Rollins has double figures in three games this season, including a season-and-career high against Fisk.

Forwards Valerie Bronson and Rachel Viehmann each grabbed three rebounds to lead the Lady Bisons.

The Lady Bisons shot 36 percent from the field hitting 18-of-50 shots and 50 percent from 3-point range hitting 7-of-14. They were 7-11 from the free throw line, a 63.6 percent success rate.

The Lady Bisons slipped to 1-7. Kansas State is 3-3.
