Lewis Signs Wilkerson to National Letter of Intent

Feb. 18, 2004

ROMEOVILLE, Ill.-Allison Wilkerson (Leawood, Kan./St. Teresa's Academy) has signed a national letter of intent to play soccer at Lewis University.

Wilkerson, a defender, was a starter for the two-time Missouri High School state champions. During her career, she was named all-state honorable mention and all-district first team. In addition, she was selected to play for the Kansas Olympic Development team in 2002 and 2003.

Wilkerson played for the KC Chargers club team and the squad was a State Cup Finalist three times.

"Allison is a solid marking back that can come out of the back really well and give us more options when we are on the attack," said Lewis head coach Bill Bruno.
