Sept. 15, 2006 LOCKPORT, Ill. - Freshmen Allison Snyder and Carly Keeler registered top-10 finishes Friday to lead the Lewis University women's golf team to second place at the University of St. Francis Invitational. Snyder tied for second, firing a 6-over-par 78 on the 5,819-yard Broken Arrow Golf Club layout, and Keeler finished eighth with an 85. Jamie Siedlaczek tied for 12th (87) and Vanessa Nomura placed 15th (89) to round out the scoring group for the Flyers, who posted a 339 total to finish five shots behind champion John A. Logan. Also competing for Lewis were Michelle Dudek and Britta Halpin, tied for 18th (91), and Amy Sachs, tied for 22nd (93). |
