Sept. 5, 2006 ALLENDALE, Mich. - Freshman Allison Snyder was the top performer for the Lewis University women's golf team at Grand Valley State University's Laker Fall Classic. Snyder tied for 58th among 117 golfers, shooting rounds of 87 and 83 for a 170 total. She was followed closely by Michelle Dudek, who tied for 62nd with a 171 total (88-83). Also competing for the Flyers in their season opener were Carly Keeler, tied for 81st (94-82=176); Jamie Siedlaczek, tied for 88th (90-90=180); Vanessa Nomura, 102nd (97-90=187); and Britta Halpin, 109th (96-103=199). Lewis placed 17th among 19 teams, shooting rounds of 359 and 338 for a 697 total. |
