EDINBURGH, Ind. - Amy Sachs carded a 6-over-par 78 Monday to lead Lewis in the first round of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Golf Championship. The Flyers' 330 team score put them in seventh place among 12 teams. Sachs' performance was good for a 10th-place tie. She was joined in the top 20 by Allison Snyder, whose 80 placed her in a tie for 17th. Also competing for Lewis were Carly Keeler, tied for 32nd (84); Jamie Siedlaczek, tied for 42nd (88); and Michelle Dudek, tied for 54th (93). The 36-hole tournament concludes Tuesday at the 5,868-yard Timbergate Golf Course. |
