April 11, 2006 COLUMBUS, Ind. - Lewis University freshman Sumeet Arora earned all-conference honors by tying for fifth place at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Golf Championship. Arora carded a 3-over-par 219 (75-70-74) on the par-72, 6,897-yard Otter Creek Golf Course, leading the Flyers to a seventh-place finish among 13 teams. Lewis registered team scores of 307-299-306 for a 912 total. Also competing for Lewis were Lloyd Roth, tied for 21st (78-73-77=228); Rob Peters, tied for 29th (76-78-78=232); Jacob Nagy, tied for 39th (79-80-77=236); and Brian Carlson, tied for 46th (78-78-81=237). |
