ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - The Lewis University baseball team will kickoff their Alumni Weekend with the annual Lewis Baseball Golf Outing at Prairie Bluff Golf Course in Lockport, Ill. at noon on Friday, October 5, 2007.

The cost to golf is $100. The package includes greens fees, cart, hot dog or brat, chips and a drink. $45 of the fee is tax deductible.

Sponsorships are available for $150. Any hole or a special event contest (long drive, closest to pin, longest putt, etc.) can be sponsored. 100% of any sponsorship is tax deductible.

The annual Baseball Alumni Game will be held the next day, Saturday October 6. The festivities will begin at 10 a.m. at Brennan Field for pre-game stretching and batting practice. First pitch is scheduled for 11 a.m. with the current Lewis players taking on the former Flyers in a seven inning ballgame. A barbeque will follow the contest.

"The Alumni Weekend is a great opportunity to see teammates you haven't seen in years and relive many memories while getting a chance to meet the coaches and compete against the current Flyer Baseball team," said head baseball coach Tim McDonough.
