KENOSHA, Wis. - Mike Smith and Tim Bingham each had two hits for the Lewis University baseball team Thursday in the Flyers' 6-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference loss to Wisconsin-Parkside. Smith's first hit was a two-out RBI single in the first inning that scored Kevin Tyrrell, who had drawn a one-out walk, stole second and advanced to third on a ground ball. Wisconsin-Parkside (11-7, 6-3 GLVC) also plated a run in the first. The Rangers scored the go-ahead run in the fourth and added three insurance runs in the sixth and another in the eighth. Tim Harmatys (1-2) tossed seven innings and absorbed the loss for Lewis (2-15, 2-7 GLVC). |
