COLUMBIA, Mo. - Terran Wertz enjoyed a fine start to the outdoor track and field season over the weekend, posting an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time at the University of Missouri Relays.

Running in the 1,500 meters seeded competition, Wertz finished ninth among 22 competitors with a time of 4:41.89.

Andy Tremble and Renee Koziol also competed at Missouri. Tremble placed second among 25 runners in the men's 1,500 meters seeded race (3:55.60), and Koziol finished 15th among 37 participants in the women's 1,500 meters unseeded competition (5:07.20).
