IOWA CITY, Iowa - Dave Dobersztyn registered an NCAA Division II Championships provisional qualifying time in the 60-meter hurdles Saturday at the University of Iowa Hawkeye Invitational. Dobersztyn clocked a time of 8.15 seconds, slightly better than his original qualifying mark of 8.21 set last month at Illinois State. He finished fourth in the hurdles and fourth in the 200 meters (22.19). Dan Probst placed third in the 35-pound weight throw (52-10¼), and the 4x400-meter relay team finished third (3:21.43). Adrian Myers was fourth in the mile (4:22.35), while Byron Toliver turned in fifth-place finishes in the 60 meters (7.06) and long jump (21-5¼). Katie Barney finished fourth in the long jump (16-1¾) and Rachel Quintana placed fourth in the shot put (35-2) to pace the Flyer women. |
