PHILADELPHIA - The Men's soccer team called off their Tuesday night game against Lafayette due to unfavorable weather conditions starting in the late afternoon.   Thunderstorms continued into the night at McCarthy Stadium well past the official start time of the game, finally forcing officials to cancel the competition.

The decision was reached by referees in collaboration with both La Salle and Lafayette coaching staff.  The conditions were deemed unsafe due to dangerous lightning that continued to strike throughout the area.
