This past weekend the Explorers hit the Schuylkill for the Murphy Cup Regatta, hosted by Temple. The Women's Varsity Eight were edged out in an exciting finish for third. Navy & Villanova dominated the field, but three crews Lehigh, St Joe's, & La Salle battled all the way down the course in a dog-fight to the finish. The Explorer Eight were nudged out in the finish to place fifth overall ahead of host Temple.

The Men's & Women's Varsity Fours had disappionting days, and failed to make the final of their events. The Men's Freshman Four qualified for the final winning their heat, but ran out of gas in the Final, placing fourth.
