BEAUMONT - Coming off their first win of the 2006 season, the Lamar University men's tennis team takes to the road again this weekend for three matches, starting in Dallas for a 2 p.m. showdown with SMU on Friday.

After the SMU contest the Cardinal men will take on Bradley on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. in Dallas before heading to Austin for a 10 a.m. match against St. Edward's on Sunday. Both the men and women's team will be in action Sunday against St. Edward's.

This weekend will mark the sixth through eighth of the Cardinals season-opening 11 matches on the road. Their first action at home will be on February 18 when they host Alcorn State.
