FRISCO - Lamar University men's golfer Justin Harding, who won medalist honors at the UALR/First Tee Collegiate Classic, was named Aeropostale Southland Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the second straight week on Wednesday, announced the league office.

Harding posted a 54-hole score of 10-under 206. He posted rounds of 68 and 69 on Monday. He shot a final round 71 Tuesday to eclipse 36-hole leader Robert Gwin by one stroke. It is Harding's second straight tournament win and third of the season.

A native of Cape Town, South Africa, Harding helped Lamar claim the team title with a 54-hole total of 33-under 832, which was the Cardinals third straight team title and fifth of the season.

Lamar continues its spring schedule April 9-10 at the Birdale Intercollegiate hosted by UNC-Greensboro.
