1 Minute With: Katie Piotrowoski

KENNESAW, Ga.- The Kennesaw State Sports Information Department will be taking time each week to sit down for one minute with an athlete from various sports. This week, sports information assistant Heather Wade spent some time with Katie Piotrowski from the women's soccer team.

Katie was recently named the Atlantic Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week after claiming back-to-back shutouts over UAB and Elon. She has now recorded three straight shutouts and has not allowed a goal in the last 300 minutes of play.

The freshman from Rahway, New Jersey ranks third in the A-Sun with a 1.14 goals against average and tops the league with her three shutouts.

Q: What has surprised you the most about college?
A: How nice the girls on the team are and the overall team environment.

A: Yogurt.
