2007-08 Season
Lindsey excelled in her first season with the Owls, leading the team in scoring average (78.8), top 20 finishes (4) and win/loss percentage (.663)...Her best finish came at the Baja Invitational where she finished in a tie for 10th at 237 (81-76-80)...She followed the Baja with a tie for 20th (80) at the Fighting Camel Spring Classic and a tie for 12th (79-75)) at the USA Lady Jaguar Invitational, becoming the first KSU women's golfer to record three consecutive top 20's...Lindsey finished in the top half of the field in all but two of the events that she entered and recorded the Owls low 18 hole on nine different occasions...Her 229 (78-73-78) at the season-ending Susie Maxwell Berning Classic was the Owls lowest 54-hole total of the season...Lindsey was awarded the teams "MVP" award for the 2007-08 season, given to the player with the lowest stroke average and highest GPA (3.5).
2006-07 Season: Lindsey joins the Owls after two successful seasons at nationally recognized Daytona Beach Community College...Posted one top 10 finish and was a key member of the 2005 National Junior College Championships runner-up team...Was selected to the Florida Junior College Athletic Association All-Academic team in 2005...Was given the Team Leadership Award in 2005-06 and the Most Improved Player Award in 2006-07 while at Daytona Beach CC...Had a great summer, failing to qualify for the U.S. Women's Amateur by only one stroke after shooting a 73.
