Donations will be accepted Saturday evening to help build care packages for soldiers overseas
 
 
Owls to Honor Armed Forces this Saturday

KENNESAW, Ga.--In conjunction with Kennesaw State's men's basketball game with Clark Atlanta, the KSU Athletic Department will be hosting "Armed Forces Night" this Saturday, December 8th. Festivities will begin at 7:00 p.m., with the game tipping off at 7:30.

In honor of this special occasion, an honor guard from Dobbins Air Force Base will be presenting the colors. In addition, a soldier stationed at Dobbins will be singing the National Anthem. Throughout the evening, there will be an opportunity for fans to donate supplies to troops stationed overseas for the holiday season. Airmen from Dobbins will be on hand to accept donations.

At halftime of the game, there will be a special concert featuring Jonathan Phillips. Phillips will be the featured soloist during the halftime performance.

Another addition to the family fun during the evening will be Pictures with Santa. All children are invited to have their picture taken with Santa Claus from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

All fans in attendance at this Saturday's game will also receive a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A sandwich.
