LANCASTER, PA - Johns Hopkins junior setter Amanda Lewis (San Antonio, TX/St. Mary's Hall) was named the Centennial Conference Volleyball Player of the Week on Tuesday. Lewis is the first Blue Jay to earn player of the week honors this season and it is the third time in her career she has earned the honor.

Lewis had a big night against Franklin & Marshall to help lead Hopkins to a 3-1 victory. She entered the match needing 15 assists to break the Hopkins career assists record and dished out 48 to lift her career total to 3,536. Lewis also added five kills, eight digs and five blocks against the Diplomats.

Lewis and the Blue Jays return to action on Wednesday, October 17 at Washington College. Match time in Chestertown is set for 7 p.m.
