Haverford, PA - Sophomore Katie Finnigan (Bend, OR/Mountain View) finished first in the high jump with a mark of 4'10" as the Johns Hopkins men's and women's indoor track teams competed in the Keogh Invitational last weekend on the campus of Haverford College.

Sophomore Ilolochika Emuh (Highland, CA/Redlands) placed second in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.90, while sophomore Joanna Cohen (Roslyn, NY/Roslyn) was seventh in the 55-meter dash in 8.06 and eighth in the long jump with a mark of 13'11".

Senior Megan Carr (Highland Mills, NY/Monroe Woodbury) finished seventh in the pole vault with a mark of 8'0", while junior Anna Russell (Memphis, TN/White Station) was 15th in the 1500-meter run with a time of 5:29.32. Freshman Megan Clarke (Oradell, NJ/River Dell) was 10th in 1:04.90 while sophomore Kathy Cain (Topeka, KS/Shawnee Heights) placed 12th in 1:06.12 in the 400-meter run.

For the Hopkins men, sophomore Tai Kobayashi (Rolling Hills, CA/Phillips Exeter Academy) finished second in the high jump while freshman Matt Smith (Hamden, MA/Minnechaug) was third and sophomore Nick Culbertson (Indianapolis, IN/Heritage Christian) was fourth. All three Blue Jays posted a mark of 5'8" in the event.

Junior Pete Dixon (Middletown, NJ) was fifth while sophomore Ted Esborn (Cleveland, OH/Saint Ignatius) was sixth in the pole vault, as each posted marks of 11'6". Sophomore Shane Olaleye (Bronx, NY/Fordham Prep) was eighth in the 400-meter run with a time of 52.26, while in the 55-meter hurdles freshman Jason Dubyoski (Upperco, MD/Hereford) was 11th in 8:51 and Kobayashi finished 12th in 8.58.

The Hopkins 4x200 meter relay team placed second with a time of 1:36.30.

The Blue Jays will compete in the Centennial Conference Championships next weekend, also at Haverford.
