GETTYSBURG, PA -
Meghan Hasenauer and Jill Seidman combined for an 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles to lead Johns Hopkins (6-1, 2-0 CC) to an 8-1 Centennial Conference women's tennis victory at Gettysburg on Tuesday. Shelly Gottesfeld recorded the lone point of the day for Gettysburg (3-2, 2-2 CC) with a come-from-behind win over Holly Clare at sixth singles.
Vandna Jerath and Tanya Gulnik were 9-7 double winners for the Blue Jays, who defeated Gettysburg for the fourth straight time.
Jerath was also a 6-2, 4-6, 10-8 winner over Ali Moyer at No. 2 singles, giving Moyer her first collegiate singles loss, while Gulnick won 6-1, 6-1 at third singles.
Holly Clare and Stephanie Carr rounded out the doubles sweep with an 8-3 win at No. 3.
In singles, Michelle Liang, Becky Busch and Mary Gorski all won in straight sets for Johns Hopkins.
