BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse program, along with STX, Inc. and Under Armour, will present the Sixth Annual 4 vs. 4 "Queen of the Turf" Tournament on Sunday, October 15, 2006, at Homewood Field. The tournament will be held from 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with check-in taking place from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

The tournament will feature 32 teams, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Teams must be registered by Friday, October 6. Teams may consist of up to 10 players (nine field players and one goalie is suggested), and each team must have a goalie to participate. The tournament is open, but for safety reasons a minimum of 6-8 years of playing experience is required for all players. STX will provide the championship teams and the runners-up with outstanding prizes, while raffle prizes will be given out throughout the day.
