TOWSON, MD - Sophomore Mary Key has been named a first-team Inside Lacrosse All-American, while senior Lacey-Leigh Hentz was selected to the second team, and freshman Kadie Stamper was picked for the third team. The Division I women's All-Americans were selected by the Inside Lacrosse staff and announced on Friday, May 20.

Key led the Blue Jays in goals (55), assists (32), and points (87) this year. Her 87 points set the Johns Hopkins Division I record for single-season points, eclipsing the mark of 74 points that she set last year as a rookie, while her 32 assists are also a single-season record. She finished with 49 more points than any of her teammates did this season, was second on the team in draw controls (30), and ranked third on the team in ground balls (31).

Key was ranked in the top three in the nation in scoring throughout the year, recording at least three points in all but one game and leading the team in points in 14 of 17 games. She has scored in every game of her two-year collegiate career, and currently ranks second all-time in consecutive games scored (34). With two years remaining at Hopkins, Key is third in career assists (54), fourth in career points (161), and fifth in career goals (107).

Hentz, a four-year starter at defense for the Blue Jays, consistently marked the opponents' top scorers and helped hold Hopkins' opponents to 8.06 goals per game. She led the team in caused turnovers (29), was second in ground balls (35), finished third in draw controls (25), and moved to the midfield position to record four goals and three assists.

Hentz ended her career as the all-time Division I record-holder for caused turnovers (146) at Johns Hopkins with 37 more than the next Blue Jay. A co-captain this year, Hentz also ranks among the top five in career ground balls (174) and draw controls (59).

Stamper started every game of her rookie season and led the Blue Jays in draw controls (56) and ground balls (43). She was also second in caused turnovers (20), third in goals (19), and fifth in points (22). Stamper was named the womenslacrosse.com Rookie of the Week after winning seven draw controls, scoring two goals, and adding three ground balls in Hopkins' 14-10 win over Georgetown.
