The Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse team moved up one spot to No. 18 in this week's Brine/IWLCA poll released Monday.
The Blue Jays improved to 4-2 on the season Friday with a 15-6 win over Davidson at Homewood Field. Senior attacker Meghan Burnett (Auburn, NY/Auburn) led Hopkins with three goals and three assists, while freshman attacker Sarah Walsh (Port Washington, NY/P.D. Schreiber) scored a game-high five goals.
Loyola remained in the poll's top spot, followed by Maryland, Duke, Georgetown, and Virginia. Princeton, Cornell, Syracuse, North Carolina, and James Madison rounded out the top 10.
The Blue Jays face No. 19 Northwestern Friday and No. 20 Vanderbilt Sunday in two crucial American Lacrosse Conference games. Both games will take place in Nashville, TN, and will begin at 1 p.m. Central.
