Janine Tucker's Book Available In Stores Now
March 17, 2003 Baltimore, MD - Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse head coach Janine Tucker has written a book on coaching girls' lacrosse. "The Baffled Parent's Guide To Coaching Girls' Lacrosse," is available now at local bookstores as well as at www.amazon.com. The 186-page book, which was published by Ragged Mountain Press/McGraw-Hill, was written by Tucker with Maryalice Yakutchik, a freelance journalist who teaches journalism and creative writing at Loyola College. The book sells for $14.95 in the United States. This book was specifically written for beginner, intermediate and advanced level coaches in youth and recreation level programs. It features comprehensive drills and practice suggestions along with detailed instruction on how to teach the more progressive style of women's lacrosse that is being played today. "What a resource!
